Virtuosos V4+ We play the same language INTERNATIONAL CONTESTANTS CAN APPLY UNTIL JUNE 7.

The already well-known Virtuosos classical music talent show is now seeking the talents of the Visegrad 4 countries (HU, CZ, SK, PL) – and, in 2021 Croatia as a guest country – to show them to millions of viewers – uniquely, on television channels in the participating countries in parallel.

Why it is worth to apply:

  • one winner from each country
  • the best young talented Virtuosos will receive a cash prize of brutto 10.000 Euros each
  • and a solo performance/concert opportunity with an internationally recognized artist
  • winners will also receive an own solo CD recording 

All contestant from each country who get into the show are already winners, as they will all get the opportunity to perform on the prestigious international gala concert. Virtuosos V4 + isn’t just a TV show, it’s a real talent nurturing as it focuses also on talent nurturing as part of its talent development program.

The young contestants can show their talent in front of an international professional jury (e.g. Plácido Domingo), which will choose the winners.

List of instruments accepted:

  • string and keyboard instruments: piano, harpsichord, harp, accordion, guitar
  • stringed instruments: violin, viola, cello, bass
  • woodwind instruments: flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, saxophone
  • brass instruments: trumpet, trombone, tuba, horn
  • percussion instruments: xylophone, marimba, cimbalom
  • vocals: soprano, alto, mezzo-soprano, tenor, baritone, bass
  • national instruments

Contestants can apply between the ages of 0-18, for singers the upper age limit is 24.

You can apply with a piece of your choice by a classical composer. The length of the piece can be a maximum of six minutes. The video of the performance and a short introduction should be uploaded to application website.
