VIRTUOSOS CELEBRATES WINNING BRONZE AND PEOPLE’S LOVIE AWARDS IN FILM&VIDEO CATEGORY

The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences announced today that Virtuosos has been selected as a Winner in the 15th Annual Lovie Awards for the following work:

The ’My Way’ video of Virtuosos was nominated in Lovie Awards along with brands such as CNN, Nvidia, Just Eat x Netflix and Gucci, in the pan-European competition recognizing outstanding media created for the web.

The award is a special honor since this year’s Lovie Awards were the one of the biggest and most competitive yet, with over 1,200 submissions from 35 countries, the 15th Annual Lovie Awards represents the breadth of European innovation.

In the video “My Way,” some of the greatest stars in the history of Virtuosos joined forces for the show’s anniversary season finale: Plácido Domingo, José Carreras, Dimash Qudaibergen, and HAUSER performed together with the Concerto Budapest Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Eugene Kohn.
The concept was created by Mariann Peller, founder of Virtuosos, while Imre Szabó-Stein served as the director and executive producer. It was filmed at United Illusions Studios in Fót, Hungary.

Mariann Peller, producer of Virtuosos, commented on the award:

“We are overjoyed and deeply proud of this recognition. Virtuosos has always believed in the power of talent, values, and human stories — and in the idea that classical music can truly touch people’s hearts even in the digital age. In My Way, legendary artists and new-generation stars created something extraordinary together. The video has already reached nearly ten million views online, shared from the Virtuosos YouTube channel across numerous platforms.”

The Lovie Award not only acknowledges the creativity and professionalism of the Virtuosos team but also proves that classical music — when presented in the right form — can reach millions in the digital space.

The director of the production, Imre Szabó Stein, who has now won his third Lovie Award, commented:

“As the executive and creative producer of the Virtuosos’ anniversary season, I envisioned an entirely new visual world for the show. In this episode, the live-generated Pixera-based VJ 3D motion backgrounds and the real 3D-quality backdrop videos created together with Kiméra Production marked a real breakthrough. When Mariann asked me to direct the special performances as well, I knew that the My Way piece—something she was especially passionate about—would probably be the most complex task.
The discipline and artistic quality demonstrated by Plácido Domingo and Carreras during filming were truly astonishing, especially since we worked in a cinematic way, shooting the performance in multiple setups.
There’s undeniably a certain drama in seeing these two legends, at the twilight of their careers, sing this iconic song together with the young titans Dimash and HAUSER.
From the creative team, I must highlight Attila Lecza (editor), András Komlós (technical director), and Gergő Czigány (director of photography), while Bence Bobák handled the sound post-production.”
